BIRDS

All our birds at Union Aquarium are acquired exclusively through trusted local breeders with whom we have developed relationships over the years. Our longstanding practice of buying from small breeders is the result of visiting some of the largest commercial bird suppliers some 15 years ago. When we discovered the deplorable conditions in which their birds were kept, we made the decision not to do business with them. As a result of our policy, we believe the birds we offer are healthier, hardier, better adjusted, and easier to train for having been raised in healthy and caring environments.

If you desire a bird that we usually stock, but are temporarily sold out of, let us know and we will contact you when new birds arrive.

If you breed birds, please contact us. We regularly add new breeders that can provide high-quality stock for our store. Parakeets and hand-fed cockatiels are particularly in demand.
